Lulu M. Tracey



Lulu M. Tracey; 68, of Kalkaska, passed away on August 30, 2007, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 14, 1939, in Alden, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Edith Drain) Thrasher.

Lulu married Virgil F. Tracey in 1970, in Bellaire. She enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. Lulu was a member of the Fife Lake Baptist Church.

Surviving Lulu is her husband, Virgil of 37 years; her children, Edith (Jim) Johnson of East Jordon, Alice (Dave) Childs of Mancelona, Judy (Dave) Neighbors of Interlochen and Alex (Terie) Tracey of South Boardman; her step-father, Harry White of East Jordon; her stepsons, Michael Tracey of Kalkaska, Gary V. (Sandra) Tracey of Bellaire, Dale (Patty) Tracey, Sr. of Mancelona and Henry (Melissa) Tracey of Kalkaska; many grandchildren; her brothers, David (Geraldine) Thrasher of Belding and Richard (Sandra) Thrasher of Cedar Springs.

Preceding Lulu in death was her parents; her siblings, Paul, Beverly, Laura, Virginia, Caroline and Phillip; her grandchildren, Joseph Tracey, Bradley Bearden, Jill Tracey; and great-grandson, David Childs.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, Sept. 1. at 11 a.m. at the Fife Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce VanDussen officiating.

Burial will be at Boardman Twp. Cemetery. Memorials may be given in remembrance of Lulu to the Fife Lake Baptist Church. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
