She was born June 17, 1931, the daughter of Claude and Mary (Hartsell) Martin in Cass City, Mich.

Geraldine enjoyed fishing and camping and loved staying home. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Coldsprings Twp., Eucher Club, Pinnacle Club, Bunco Club and St. Anthony Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband William Dixon in 1968 and her second husband James Bullock Sr. in 1988. She was also preceded in death by three sisters Bertha Phillips, Evelyn Miksa, Isabell Wright, two brothers Roy and Pete Martin as well as two infant boys and her parents.

Geraldine is survived by six children; Jim Bullock of Alden, Sandy (Gary) Tracey of Bellaire, Deb Walters of Mancelona, Janice (Vince) Bowden of Ohio, Connie L. Coon of Kalkaska, Fran (Bill) McGillivray of Mancelona, brother Ken (Joanne) Martin of Cass City, sister Marie Bierlein of Saginaw, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was held Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Mancelona. Fr. Dale Magoon officiated. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. The family was served by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
