Another successful season

The Chain O'Lakes Youth Baseball/Softball League wrapped up another successful season last week with playoffs and championship games at several locations.

The Peanuts "B" teams held their final championship game at the new Clearwater Township Heritage Park in Rapid City on July 20. The Clearwater Township Parks & Recreation Committee hosted a picnic for both teams after the game.

The teams in the final were Kalkaska #1 sponsored by Big Gator Printing and coached by Dave Burr and Mike Staley vs Kalkaska #2 sponsored by Sako & Sons and coached by Bill and Helen Artress. Kalkaska #1 with a score of 8-5 won the exciting game.
