A resident of Kalkaska until 1984, he attended Kalkaska High School. Charlie was in construction and design.

Charlie is survived by his mother, Nora; his children, Joseph, Danielle and Jacob Strohmier all of Chicago, Ill; his 7 sisters, Patricia (Jimmy) VanAmburg of Port Charlotte, Fla.; Beverly (James) Stoddard of Frederick; Alisa (Stacey) Licking of Barlow, Fla.; Rose (Gerald) Brown of Orleans; Charlene (Carl) Thompson of Rapid City; Janeine "Jake" Delecki (Robert Alberts) of Kalkaska; and by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles in April 1988; his grandparents, Corneilus and Dora Strohmier and Lional and Mary Crandall. "Charlie Brown" will be missed by all.

Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 5, at Wolfe- O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral and additional visitation was on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
