Engraved stones that eventually will be placed near the landscaping beds will be on display. Each stone is engraved with a sponsor name.

The only landscaping bed in place is the one located near the entrance of the parking lot at the Kaliseum. A total of 28 beds will grace the two-mile loop by this fall.

After a brief presentation by planners and local officials - and the cutting of the ribbon and cakes - attendees will be able to take what is being billed as a "fun walk" that will take approximately 45 minutes.

Bike racks and benches are scheduled to be in place before the ribbon cutting ceremony. Drinking fountains soon will be placed along the trail.
