Local News PUBLISHED: 4-H has partnered with Community Mental Health to assist clients with independent living skills, job skills and social interaction. 4-H members will be mentoring the CMH clients at the markets in both Kalkaska and in Rapid City this summer. The market in Rapid City will be in the front lawn of Clearwater Township, in Heritage Park every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through the end of August. "The funds go to buy produce, pay CMH clients for their work and for stipends to the kids for mentoring,"Harper said. "Any leftover funds will go to CMH." "The markets will be open at least through the end of August or until school starts,"he said. |
