Their main focus is to provide a safe, alcohol and drug free environment for graduating seniors to celebrate their graduation, in the form of a "Senior All Night Party."

"This is the end of a major goal in their lives, and the beginning of another part, on their way to becoming adults," Mark Bonofiglio, the president of the Senior Parent's Association, said. "By us, parents and community, showing support for them and acting as an example to them of giving back to the community, we hope that they will one day, use our example, when the time calls they to will give back to their community and kids."

This year's group first met in September of 2006. They began planning for the 2007 all night party then and have met at least once each month. They have conducted fund raising events, silent auctions, raffles and pop can collections, to raise money to fund the event.

This past year the group raised around $22,000, according to Bonofiglio.

Food, prizes, and the free cars all were donated by the generous people of Kalkaska and the surrounding communities.
