Pastor Terry Anderson



Pastor Terry L. Anderson, 64, of Haiti and formerly of Kalkaska, passed away suddenly on April 3, 2007, in Haiti. Born on March 27, 1943, in South Lyons, he was the son of Norman and Audrey (McLain) Anderson. Terry married Connie L. Grinnell on October 20, 1962, in Kalkaska.

He was the Pastor of the Community Baptist Church in Sault Ste. Marie from 2/73 until 5/ 83. Terry joined the Macedonia World Baptist Mission and has been church planting in Haiti for the past 22 years together with his wife.

He loved serving the Haitian people and has operated a children's home for the last 5 years.

Surviving Terry is his beloved wife, Connie; his children, Michael Anderson of Grand Ledge, Amy Noland of B r a n d o n , Florida, Christ o p h e r ( M i c h e l l e ) Anderson of Winder, Ga. and Sandrine Anderson of Haiti; grandchildren, Diana and Alexandra Anderson, Marlena and Ryan Noland, Nosiah Fulton, Kaleigh and Madison Anderson; and one great-granddaughter, Shayla; his siblings, Larry (Charlene) Anderson of Lakeland, Fla., Susan Ball of Kalkaska and Shelly (Tim) Gallia of Carrollton, Texas. Terry's dad, Norman Anderson died on 4/22/ 2007.

A memorial service celebrating his life has been scheduled for Saturday, June 16 at 7 p.m. at the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church with Pastor William Kuiper officiating. Burial has taken place in Haiti.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested remembrances be made to the Macedonia Baptist Mission, c/o Connie Anderson, PO Box 519, Braselton, Ga. 30517.
