No rain on youth parade



KALKASKA - It rained in the morning; it rained in the afternoon; but it didn't rain on our parade last Friday.

The 72nd National Trout Festival Youth Parade strutted through downtown Kalkaska last Friday, proving that local youth have can-do spirit and loads of creativity.

Floats reflected the "Troutin' Around the World" theme for this year's festival.

According to Elizabeth Dunham, the 2008 National Trout Festival Youth Parade Winners were:
