Martin was a veteran of the Korean War serving our country in the US Army.Ê He married Barbara Moore in Walled Lake.Ê Martin was a resident of Kalkaska since 1969, moving from Detroit. Reading was a favorite pastime and Martin always wanted to be doing something.Ê On his day off he would visit family and enjoy his grandchildren.

Surviving Martin is his children, Timothy (Linda) Norkowski of Interlochen, Dawn Jackson of Traverse City and Andrea Norkowski of Kalkaska; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his parents; and his sisters Mary, Caroline and Sue.

Visitation was Monday, April 28 and Tuesday, April 29. The funeral will be on Wednesday, April 30, at 2 p.m. at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska.Ê Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
