Obituaries PUBLISHED: Betty was born January 24, 1920, in Parkersburg, Iowa, the daughter of Edmund C. and Almira (Dingman) Palmer. In 1938, she married Merle E. Raudman from Constantine, Mich., where they made their home. From this union they had two sons and two daughters, Richard (Dorena) Raudman, Peggy Elizabeth (William) Kiel, Karen (Patrick) Stuck and Wendall "Sandy" (Susan) Raudman. Merle passed away in 1988. Betty later married Roy Knisely of Constantine. She enjoyed her family tremendously, knitting and crocheting throws for residents in local nursing homes. She also enjoyed Indian artifacts and was a "rock hound". She loved traveling through the western states and especially a trip to Hawaii with friends and family. She leaves a brother, Kenneth (Angie) Palmer of Iowa; her sister, Shirley Roberts of Three Rivers; 10 grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren. Preceeding her in death were her parents; both husbands; brother, Wendall Palmer; sister, Wynafred Bowman; and daughter, Peggy Kiel. Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 24 at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 25, at 11 a.m. at the Peoples Church with Reverend Roger Numerich officiating.
