Louise Talbot



G. Louise Talbot, 79, of Rapid City, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Ð LTC. She was born on July 20, 1927, in Toronto, OH., the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Vermillion) Hunter.

Louise married James C. Talbot on May 18, 1945, in Wellsville, OH. She was been a resident of Rapid City since 2000, moving from Gladwin.

Louise worked as a nursing assistant at Meadow Brook in Bellaire and at the Gladwin Senior Housing Commission. She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren. Louise attended the Kalkaska Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Louise is survived by her children, Bonnie (Lloyd) Fetterolf of Rapid City, Betty (David) VanOtteren of Lowell and James D. (Linda) Talbot of Central Lake; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service has been planned on Saturday, April 22, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kalkaska at 2 p.m. Reverend Jerry Batterbee and Paul Kolakor will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family of Louise, c/o Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home, 406 S. Cherry St., Kalkaska, Mich., 49646. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
