According to a report from KVPD, Thomas Zundel, 43, of Fife Lake, was traveling northbound on Cedar Street, lost control of his vehicle near Dresden Street and struck the building that used to house both Papa K's and Nextel/Kalcom Communications.

A spring snow storm caused near-whiteout conditions that morning. According to the KVPD report, weather and road conditions were a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation.
