Nicholas Patnode, 2, of Kalkaska took a spin in the sun behind the 46th District Court building where his grandma, Rita Kirchofer works. "We thought weÕd let him try out his new wheels," Melissa Kirchofer, Nicholas' mom said. The rumble of motorcycles and kids on bikes were a sure sign of spring in 50-degree weather last Friday.
