Marie exemplified courage, determination and faith throughout her 32 year battle with cancer. She was a 1945 graduate of Kalkaska High School.Ê

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Esther Barber; siblings, Clifford Barber, Gertrude Martin and Ruth Barber.Ê

Marie is survived by her loving husband, Duane, who will cherish memories of his ÒsweetheartÓ of 52 years; her children, Gary (Kath) Tinker of Kingston, NH, Kris (LeRoy) Doyle, Doug (Terri) Tinker, Penny (Ed) Graham all of Middleville, Shelley (Mark) Mol of Coopersville; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Mel Marine, Jack (Carol) Tinker; sisters-in-law, Arlene (Virgil) Armstrong, Nancy Tinker, Maria Marine; many nieces and nephews.Ê
