Kasza sank a trio of 3-pointers for the Blazers, giving them a lead they wouldnÕt relinquish in a 59-40 drubbing of Glen Lake.

ÒIt was a close game at the start, but by the third quarter, it was pretty much over,Ó Kalkaska coach David Manchester said. ÒJohn came in and made some 3Õs and we took off.Ó

Kasza finished with 12 points for the Blazers, who were led by Chris Keller, who scored a game-high 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Mark Wallace added 12 points and six assists for Kalkaska, which today faces a Forest Area team that has been scouting the Blazers.

ÒI was expecting to see Kalkaska and weÕve got some good scouting,Ó Forest Area coach Ryan Benzenber said. ÒWe got a few tapes of games and have been breaking them down.Ó
