Charles married Jamie Ludvigson on March 8, 1980, in Casper, Wyoming.Ê He was employed by Arrow Energy.Ê Charles enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, being in the great outdoors, and spending time with his brothers and his family.Ê He was a member of the Pathway Community Church in Mancelona.

Charles is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jamie; children, Paul A. (Jennifer) Bluer of Clifton, Texas, and Holly K. Bluer of Kalkaska; siblings, Ted (Virginia) Bluer, David (Donna) Bluer, and Cynthia Bluer all of Kalkaska.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joann Barrett.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at the Pathway Community Church.
