ÒI thought they did very well considering they lost 15 points on account of a technical penalty,Ó said Kalkaska coach Sharon Stockford, about her teamÕs opening round. ÒThey did very well, the whole team did a great job. TheyÕre not quitters, theyÕre fighters. IÕm proud of them.

Stockford commended the efforts of Whitney Duque, Katherine Robinson, Erica Bailey, Tabatha Nurenberg, Alyssa Schempf and Angel Swinehart in performing stunts that included an extended one-legged liberty heel stretch, a basket toss and an extended cupie.

Round by round the Lady Blazers out together scores of 116.5, 97.8 and 213.5.
