Leroy married Minnie McLeod Dec. 8, 1995, in Cadillac.

Leroy is survived by his wife Minnie; his children, Evelynne (Frank) Dean of Kingsley, Bill (Pat) Ingersoll of South Boardman, Dorothy (Earl) Abeare, Vivian Hejnal, and Estella (Earl) Soderman all of Fife Lake; stepchildren, Kay Emery, Joe Emery, and Bruce Emery all of Manton; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and eight greatgreat-grandchildren.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother of his children, Yeteve Ingersoll; sisters, Lillian and Melissa Beckwith; and great-grandson, David.

Leroy retired from the Department of Natural Resources in 1981 after 15 years of service.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 18 at the Wolfe-OÕNeill Funeral Home in Kalkaska with Pastor Dan Ingersoll officiating from Eden Bible Church. Burial will be at Garfield Township Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-OÕNeill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.
