Obituaries PUBLISHED: metrios J. ÒJimÓ Kiriacopoulos, 82, of Traverse City, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 8, 2007, at Munson Medical Center. Born Dec. 17, 1924, in Koroni, Greece, he was the son of the late John and Angela Kyriakopoulos.Ê On Oct. 23, 1966, in Kalkaska, he married the former Nancy L.ÊBurke. JimÊworked as a Head Chef at the Traverse City Holiday Inn for 18 years, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. He also enjoyed gardening and working on his truck. Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Kiriacopoulos of Traverse City; three daughters, Janet M. Kiriacopoulos of Traverse City, Nikki L. (Mark E.) Mitchell of Kingsley and Andrea L. (Colin G.) Seaberg of Cedarburg, Wis., four brothers, Fred Kyriakopoulos of Mt. Prospect, Ill., ChrisÊ (Pam) Kyriakopoulos, George (Stavrula) Kyriakopoulos and Gus Kyriakopoulos all of Koroni, Greece; sister, Andrianna (Spiros) Dimitrakopoulos of Toronto, Canada; grandchildren, Connor and Destiny MitchellÊ of Kingsley andÊ AlaynaÊ and Chase Seaberg of Cedarburg, Wis. In addition to his parents, Jim was also preceded in death by a sister, Maria. Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
