Born in Alma, Mich., she was a homemaker and volunteered for the American Red Cross. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include James, husband of 60 years; children, Jane Werka, James Jr., Mary (Jon) Huff, John, and Peggy (Keith) Butts; brother, William Clark; proud and adored Nonny to Mary Melissa, Robert, Elizabeth (deceased), James, Alexandra, Jessica, Stephanie, and James III; and great-grandchildren, Emily and Bailey.

Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Ctr. Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana with calling one hour prior, Fr. James Shafer officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana with Vigil at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Graveside Service is 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, MI.
