Missy is survived by her companion of 10 years, James Little; daughters, Maggie and Sarah Little of Fife Lake; her parents; siblings, Mike (Kelly) Birgy, Eric (Lisa) Birgy, Todd (Kayla Quillin) Birgy, all of Fife Lake; her maternal grandmother, Genevieve Harwood; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Most of MissyÕs life was spent living in Fife Lake, and she graduated from Forest Area High School in 1988. She was employed by the Forest Area Schools working in food preparation, a job that she loved. Missy enjoyed music, cooking, and especially family gatherings. She loved being a mother and spending time her children.Ê

Missy was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Leo Birgy; her paternal grandmother Elsie Birgy and her maternal grandfather, William Harwood.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the Wolfe-OÕNeill Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Burial will be at Clark Cemetery in Springfield Township.

Memorials may be given in lieu of flowers to an educational fund for Maggie and Sarah Little, set up at the Forest Area Credit Union. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-OÕNeill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.
