Local News PUBLISHED:
Advisors from the following colleges and university will be on site to answer questions about their offerings, as well as help with applications and financial aid: Baker College, Davenport University, Ferris State University, Spring Arbor University, and Northwestern Michigan College. There also will be health screenings and demonstrations, including: height, weight, and body mass measurements; blood pressure checks; vision screenings; dental information; massage therapists; a self-defense demonstration; nutrition information for the entire family; cancer prevention information; registration for low-cost health insurance for children (MIchild); health-related kidsÕ activities; EMS demonstrations; and fingerprinting from the sheriffÕs department. Organizers also will have on-site registration for KAL-TEC courses in 2007. The new catalog will be distributed and advisors will be available to answer questions about classes. KAL-TEC scholarships will be determined and awarded during the event. KAL-TEC will offer free lunch and the chance to win a digital camera.
